I have been working the mental health field for the last 15 years. I have a passion for working with others and providing a supportive, nurturing environment.

I am trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and trained in evidenced based therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused CBT and CBT School Refusal Model. In addition to Solution Focused Brief Intervention model.

I completed training through Postpartum Support International (PSI) and completed the Perinatal Mood Disorders: Components of Care and Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy Training. The goal is helping you through this new period in your life and to adjust to your new role.

Working with parents I utilize strengthen based approach in establishing respectful boundaries, communication to improve relationships.

Overall, I incorporate mindfulness techniques to help ground you to achieve more positive results. We can discuss and explore which modality would best meet your needs upon intake.
